About
Annabel is an artist based in Sydney and is the illustrator of four published picture books to date, including 'Saffy and the Sneaky Secret Summoning', 'Dear Santa, Love Floss', 'Rainbow Plate' and 'Princesses Wear Sneakers'.
'Rainbow Plate', written by Doctor Preeya Alexander featured as book of the month in OAC Childcare centres across Australia and is endorsed by The Obesity Policy Coalition. Her practice often begins with traditional mediums such as watercolour, gouache, and pencils to enrich her illustrations with texture, vibrancy and interest. She also indulges a passion for digital art in the Adobe Creative Suite applications to bring her hand-drawn illustrations to the next level.
Annabel is a resident of the Friends at Work Studio space within the Powerhouse Creative Industries Residency Program.
